At Greater Capacity Consortium, we offer a variety of services tailored to K-12 and higher education.

Team-Centered. 

We take care to get to know the players on your school’s team and customize our playbook to your state’s law and your authorizer’s rules of the game. We drill you on the basics, target points of weakness to get your organization in shape, and promote the kind of team play that will score you winning results.  

We model a facilitative and adaptive style to fully engage participants in the experience and tailor the learning to the specific needs of the group. Our methods involve:

• • effective use of multi-media, including streaming video segments, presentation slides, guided discussions, handouts and other printed resources to reinforce the learning in several modes;
• • conducting research in advance about the charter school and authorizer, including a review of state law, the charter, bylaws, board minutes, newsletters, online news searches and other sources;
• • interviews with the board chair and school leader, minimally, and other board members as desired;
• • understanding our audience to the fullest extent so our training time together can be more engaging from start to finish on the day of the in-person workshop or webinar; and
• • assessing the work that we do together and following up with your board to reinforce best practices.

Board Training.
